I picked up a couple of plastic bombs from hobby-lobby and stuck em on my cub. The whole process took about 2-2.5 hours. In order for the releasing mechanisms to work I put the servos on top. It's not pretty but it works well. The releasing mechanisms are bolted on with small bolts and I also added some washers so the foam doesn't give under pressure. The wing went through the "shake" test to ensure that the bombs are plenty secure. To activate the servos I use the right and left aileron control. Great idea.I was just thinking today about how everybody wishes H/Z would upgrade the electronics, add ailerons and come stock brushless with lipo's. But all these things have been due to others great imagination with creative things like this.I for one hope they leave it as is so it can remain a hobby plane to tinker with.Hope the test runs go well but if not I'm sure you will find a way to fine tune it.

Thanks ;D
I've already fine tuned it and it flies great. I still have to release the bombs within a few seconds or it gets pretty unstable. I'll have some vids up tommorrow afternoon.
I do need ideas on what to fill the bombs with. I'm thinking either paintballs or flour. Possibly even a small egg.

I took some videos today with my flycamone of the bombs in mid air, but the quality isn't good enough to really see them drop. I'll take my other camera out in the next few days to capture some SC awesomeness. ;D

I don't use spars. I just put packaging tape on both sides and it does fine.

That would be great! ;D
one of my servos decided to die on me so now im just running my aileron wing. It's nice to have interchangable wings, just plug it and go...
I just ordered some new sevos from hobbycity ;D
The problem with coming in low is that sometimes when I drop a bomb off of one of the wings it sends me into a steep dive. Other times it's fine, but just to careful I think ill be staying at a little higher altitude. I guess I could make it so they release at the same time but...where's the fun in that? ;D
