Got 2x 9 cell 1000 mah from my pz stang and really want to put em in my cub. Has any one done this, got any pics or got any ideas where i can fit them. I know there a bit heavy but i think it will be OK. Not got the skill to upgrade to brushless and lipos

Go for it. All you have to do is carve a little out of the battery box on one end or the other. Try to put the extra weight forward rather than aft.

Been looking at the obvious battery box mod and it also means taking some foam away. Not that this is a problem, just dont want the 8 cells i use moving aroung too much. thought about putting them where the drop module would sit. fix it on the out side with velcro!

Thats sort of odd but anything is posssible. There should be some velcro in there to strap your 8 cell in with.

Epoxy a piece of Velcro to the bottom of the battery box, put a piece of Velcro on your 8 cell and if you use the Velcro strap as well the 8 cell will not move anywhere, even if Maria is flying. ;D

Going to play around over weekend and see what i come up with. Thanks for the ideas. Velcro and epoxy seem and good start.
