RE: Firebird Commander Stabs

Ok folks , might need some help. Just bought replacement stabilizers for my son"s Commander 2. Noticed that the control lines are actually fishing lines attached to screws for adjustment.My question is , what is the best and simplest way to attach and adjust the stabs? Also are there any helpful hints out there as far as the attachments?

I've replaced a couple of these. If you just carefully remove the complete control horn you wont have to mess with the lines.
