Hi spar. In MPH, i don't know. I must start tying the ribbon to the aerial for some sort of reference. When you see the cub just floating, i would say i was just above half throttle. If i was using a stock battery, it would of definitely been at full throttle. I have flown in wind before and found it very distracting, with the cub being buffeted all over the place On this day the wind was more constant and made the flying very enjoyable

WOW! a SC on steroids! Amazin how much of a dif a few volts makes. Do you think the stock motor will have a shortened lifespan runnin Lipos? Great flyin, it ain't easy bringin her in with that stiff wind you had. hat's off to ya!

I don't think it is the motor that you have to worry about. I wonder about the receiver and/or ESC. The motor is only $9 anyway :-)

Well, no problems so far with the rx/esc and it's been getting loads of air time recently. Maybe i'm just lucky.
