The other night I was able to go flying with a friend of mine who has a GWS Slow Stick. We both had cameras on-board trying to capture video of each other's planes while in flight. Unfortunately for him, his plane didn't show up very well in my video because the color of his plane blended in too much with the desert surroundings. However, my plane (all white with black bottoms on the wing and tail) showed up very well in portions of his video. Below is a link to a very rough edit of the video. In my video editing software (Adobe Premiere Elements 4), I synced up the two videos, and the main shot throughout is from my plane's view, but then it switches to his plane's view anytime my plane is in sight of his camera. Make particular note around the 2:06 mark, where we had a near mid-air collision. www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKjqV2cdM0AEnjoy!

very nice!!
your video was the first time i've seen a slow stick in flight. i've been considering the supercub vs. the slow stick as a first fixed-wing RC model (i've been flying the blade cx2 helicopter after a long hiatus from flying).
for small areas, it looks like the slow stick would be more maneuverable than the SC. was that your experience?

I haven't personally flown the Slow Stick myself, but in watching my friend fly his, it does seem to be much more maneuverable than the Super Cub, due to its ability to fly much slower. The one thing about the Slow Stick though, was my friend was having a heck of a time flying it in the windy conditions we were in. Luckily he has it configured with a brushless motor and Li-Po batteries, so he was able to make some headway in the wind. He has a lot more Slow Stick videos available here: www.youtube.com/user/eroomomni
