I got my camera a few days ago and could not wait to test it out. there was reported 15-20 mph winds but I just couldnt wait... In the first vid I was playing around with some low clouds(could have been a very costly mistake!!!) thanks god I found my way out ;D The second vid is me just trying to get as much altitude as possible... This plane is too much fun www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3W3hjUc1Wkwww.youtube.com/watch?v=pwJaLB4iG3o

How did you end up connecting it to your computer? How did you mount it to the SC?

How did you end up connecting it to your computer? How did you mount it to the SC? Eph Most cameras have USB lead so you can plug straight in to computer and download. My flycam one has SD card so i can take it out and plug in to my card reader. camera Looks like it is taped to batterybox, you can just see the landing gear both sides of video. Great vid debong, i bet there is some nice areas to fly in ireland. looks very remote, just what i like, coming from the isle of wight. can you post details of camera used.

First I must thank S.C.C for his help setting up this camera... I used a 5 in 1 edvr....it has 128mb of memory so on its highest quality video setting i get about 6 mins of video....Its usb so simply plug it into the pc and it is recognised the same as a usb pen drive.... As for mounting the camera I tried several different places....As S.C.C recommended I removed the ACT sensors and widened the hole so I could mount the camera in their place...Both the videos I posted are with the camera in the bottom ACT sensor hole... For pics check out S.C.C post: supercubclub.proboards78.com/index.cgi?board=vids&action=display&thread=1184173544The area I live is very remote(I actually live on the side of a mountain) and when the mood takes me and weather permits I go out my front door and I can fly as much as I want....

Can you guys post links to places to buy the flycam and the edvr, please? got my flycam here www.westlondonmodels.com/i like it as you can put an extra SD card in (up to 1 gb) And it is so much easyer to use. velcro is all you need and you can also use it on cars bikes kites ect. The video quality isnt as good as dvr but still good see my videos in this section.

It was very strange watching it disappear and I found myself relying on my hearing alot more ...I paniced a little after about 20 secs but I have a spare cub and a FPV system on the way so my plan is to try and get above the clouds...just wonder would I be pushing it a little too much trying that?how thick would an average cloud be?could I damage the cub from moisture/water vapor or even loose signal?

debong. I would of thought the FPV system has a greater range than the Super cub. That could cause a few poblems.
