The video does not look much different power wise to a stock set up. But i will assure you it was great to have the extra power. Its good to have the Futaba TX back in my hands. Another thing you have to get use to, is how quite the B/L motor is. Got to cut some ailerons. media.putfile.com/Super-cub-brushless

SCC, Your videos scare me because you fly over water. Do you have a rowboat nearby in case you dump in the water?

So do you think the 450 was the right choice?

So do you think the 450 was the right choice? Hey Kevin. Absolutely. It delivers more than enough power for me. I'm surprised how cool it is after an 8 to 10 minute flight and it's so quite. I'm looking forward to trying the 10x7 & 11x7 APC props when they arrive. What kind of performance should i be expecting from them compared to the 11x 5.5 ?? My only regret. I wish i had done the upgrade earlier. ;D

You can expect more speed and more vertical performance. I did try the 11x5.5 but I forget what it did. I should be logging all this stuff.

I noticed $89, there's a fool on ebay selling for £99.99, I bought mine for £35.00 here in the UK, shop around folks :-) I also use a Oregon scientific which takes a 2GB memory card and 2x AA batteries, lots of flight time but you'll pay the price with the extra weight of this puppy, 232 grams. I reckon it's the equivilent of having 2 x stock batteries on your Cub or not far of it. It's a bit sloppy until you get some height then the AWB kicks in and darkens some of your lighter video work. The 5 in 1 rocks for flight vids, just not enough time, I'm currently getting around 10 to 12 minutes on a 128mb 5 in 1. PS. Nice videos SCC, again, thanks for sharing

Unfortunately, Michael has stopped stocking them. There is the Flycamone, which you can get from West London models or Hobby lobby in the States.
