SCC , just giving you a heads up on my son's 2nd flight.Repair and restoration went well and decided to fly in my backyard,which is approximately 12 acres. I launched and gave his Commander altitude than my son took over.Needless to say ,even for such an unexperienced flyer like myself, the Commander is so much more difficult to fly compared to the SC.My son flew well until the wind took it , and the sun hid it , so needless to say another recovery effort was on the way.To make a long story short ,think I'll keep the Commander on the back burner,and purchase my son a new SC from the local LHS.

Mac , I'll make you a deal.We will trade the air-worthy tree finding Commander for the new Styker you said you are gonna purchase.LOL. Are we flying this weekend,and if so work on installing that camera in the SC.........

This weekend looks good, wind forecast has nothing above 10 MPH. Friday evening looks good too with winds at 4 mph out of the NW at 6 PM. Might need to make an early start to the weekend, Now we wait on Al... |
