Who flies traction kites? I love them and wondered who else does. I have a few ranging from 4M-12M and cannot wait for my body to feel up to it again. I have an accident in early Dec. that left me ouching for a few months.....now I am ready I believe. Here is a pic of what they look like. This is not my kite but I have the same one (my biggest so far). You can be pulled on anything with them too. No gas! No parts! No BS! Just free wind and tons of fun. I have a kite board for water.....just like being pulled behind a boat but you can get lift and get 50 feet of air if you want. I also have snowboards and ski's for it. I am wanting a trike really bad now. So how about it any kiters out there?

WOWWY when you said Kite I figured a kite not a full sized sail. We got our son a 30' long Dragon Kite. Is pretty neat to fly, a lot of action to keep the young ones interested. I would like to have a more acrobatic, fun to fly kite but we do not have room for everything. No room physically for storage or room in our daily lives for more stuff. Family, Fly SC, Fishing, Fly SC, Fishing, Fly SC, Fishing, Fly SC, Fishing, Fly SC, hunting, Fly SC. So as you can see already pretty darn tight. Nonetheless nice Kite Kevin and be careful with that 50' burst of lift. Water isn't much different than cement on impact. Wayne

My sense of self-preservation has kept me from doing a few things.
However with that said, I am going skydiving some time in April, pics and video definitely to follow.

Now there's a guy who likes high speed excitement. That is the one thing I could not do. I am a chicken when it comes to jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. Can't wait to see your video.

The jump should be GREAT! This will be my first, my sister says she's going with me. This is a good thing she is going because I can't chicken out in front of her. I do know I am having the video filmed by a separate jumper with a helmet camera but unsure about still pictures. Since this is my first it will be a tandem jump with an instructor strapped to my back. Another good thing about this is I have to meet a weight limit and this gave me a reason to lose about 15 unneeded pounds which I have already done. You'll all hear about this when it happens. Anybody else jumped before? Wayne

Haa you could tow a freight train with that kite in Kansas. If I let it go in my back yard I'd land in swampfox's frontyard. Hey wjcjr, parachutes were designed to save your buttocks when the plane stopped flying, if she's still making lift "take a seat". A girlfriend in FL broke her leg doing that crazy stuff. Brrrrrr, still gives me the jeebies.
