Nice video. The Kyocera SL300R camera did a very good job. www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/SL300R/SL3A.HTMThat is a flip camera. Do you have to flip it open to take photos? It weighs 143 gram, 5 ounces, was the Super Cub okay with that load? How did you mount it?

The Kyocera camera can take pictures in any configuration of the flip. It goes around about 300 degrees, so you can take pictures from odd angles. It does flip the picture if you turn it towards yourself, because it is assumed you are taking a self portrait.
On the plane I have it folded flat, and lying between the landing gear. You can see on the rough landing that camera partially dislodges. The actual lens is not centered, so that's why you the prop is off center in the video.
As for the tip stall, I was suprised by the "spectator" in the black pickup truck. I took off from the parking lot, and turned around to fly over the field. When I was ready to land, I turned back around and saw the pickup (too late) that had arrived sometime during the flight (you can see them pulling in on the raw footage). I got spooked and turned too sharply to avoid them at too slow a speed. I have now learned to scan the landing area BEFORE final approach. A cooler head would have powered up and gone around. You can tell from the tape that I wasn't going to hit them, but depth of field can be tricky and it was too close for me to calmly land going straight.
Thanks for the comments!
BTW - the hard landing bent the landing gear and scraped a corner of the camera. The tail snapped at a previous break but all was repaired quickly. My next goal is to circle a kite at altitude. (Kiting is my other hobby). Look for the video!
