It looks like he my have made a noob mistake and had his elevator reversed. It's definitely in the down position when taking off. This just happened to me last week. I had the wrong model input on my Dx6 . Fortunately I only broke the prop and no other damage.

That's why I'm glad I stick with the Super Cub. No matter how many dumb mistakes I make, and least it never costs too much to fix or replace.
