This mite not work but how about posting a pic of where we all fly and showing the choice of runway and any possible hazards that you mite have to encounter? Ive recently found this place and it is perfect as i can now do ROG takeoffs and landings and im a fair distance from any hazards.

Must be nice to have pavement . I am relegated to flying in my field . But the good news is i go to the shed , get the sc and am in the air in about 5 minutes . Just have to watch out for the sc chasing donkeys (aka Flight insturctor from macs vid) .

I fly in a park where I have to share the space with playground equipment where kids have the audicity to play at! I won't fly above anybody so I have to keep a constant watch for kids in MY field. They also play baseball and soccer in the sw corner on occasion. So I fly over the water a lot and anywhere nobody is. I've had parents come over from the playground and tell me thay thought a real plane was landing in the field. Thankfully they laughed about it. When I had only 1 good stock battery I'd be there for 5 minutes. But now I'm there long enough to get caught if someone complained. I like to land in the road north of the park. But it is tree lined so I have to keep absolute control. I landed and ROG there 4 times in a row one evening. But the 5th time I hit one of the trees lining my runway. I think it moved into my way. But it was getting a little darker and my depth perception isn't as good then. I thought I was all lined up and was most of the way down when my wing hit the tree trunk about 5 ft off the ground. No damage, cool! But I decided that was close enough for one day. Here's my pix from microsoft virtual earth, google is too old. There is one lanp post, otherwise there really isn't any real obstructions. I needed to add larger wheels for ROG in the very rough grass. Mike

here is were i normally fly, its two middle schools that are next to each other. only problem is there is alot of people who play baseball or foot ball so normally i have to wait till almost sun down. good thing is though i have meet a few new park flyers down there, not too many around here.

Here's a pic of where I fly taken from my super cub! Locate the car. Now see the two white dots by the car? The one behind the car is my t-28, and the other white dot in the middle of the grass is me!
