Here's my little paint job for my SC. I always have problems with keeping track of it way up there with the clouds in the backgrounds. Hopefully this will help me see the wing during the turns, and not to mention looking cool during a loop. It only cost my about 2 bucks to paint the wing, but i'm not very happy with it. The paint doesn't stick at all. It comes off just by touching it or dinging it. I'm debating whether to cover it in tape to protect it. If I do, I can't ever take the tape off or the paint job will come with it. Also if I screw up when I'm putting the tape on, like get a crease, I'll ruin it too. Anyways, here's some crappy pics. It's suppose to be good flying weather tomarrow and I just installed the skis so I can ROG from the snow. Hopefully I can get some better pics and maybe a vid too! I also got a aiptek (sp?) camera in the mail. I hope to mod my Arial D-M so i can take arial pics with my xport button. Thanks for looking

Looks great from here. You seem worried about the durability of the paint. Can I ask what type you used? I want to paint mine for better visibility. Thanks Rolie

DONT put tape on it. it adds un-wanted weight, and looks bad. thats the way I went, and I took it off.
the paint should cure in a couple days and be fine.

Also, when you fly it, let us know if there is an improvemnet in the distance "comfort" zone. Can you see it better? Rolie

Yes Orientaion was just an excuse to paint it. But it will help when I turn, that's usually when I lose it.

Well the weather man was wrong. The wind is 15mph gusting to 25mph. Perhaps at dusk it'll go down enough for a quick flight. So since I put it back on its hangar I thought I'd give a pic of it. It's made from 1/2'' pvc pipe. It swings open to get the fuse out.

Wow that's a great site. Thanks! It looks like tomarrow at 6:00 am it supposed to be 5mph. Now only if I can wake myself up that early.
What would happen with my ant? I've always mounted it like that.

idk, it just seems unnecessary... did it fix the radio glitches? no...

I never had any glitches...
I got it out to fly today. It was a bit windy but went good. I like the way it looks when I loop in now, and when it banks turns. I'd say it didn't increase my "comfort zone" for distance. Anyways, I'm pretty happy with the plane. I got a vid of it, i'll edit it and post it up sometime soon.
