OK, I've read just about everything on this and other sites about Lipos etc., and have to admit I'm more confused now than ever. I'd like to get longer flights than I'm currently getting out of my stock cub. I don't really need more performance since I usually fly at 60-70% power anyway - I just want to fly longer. What is the best way to achieve this? Will this work in the SC? www.hobbyzone.com/rc_parts_battery_parkzone_1050.htmBesides new connectors, are there any other modifications required??? ESC?, prop? Appreciate any help here.

That charger looks like it's made by the same people who make the charger that comes with the cub. If that is the case i would'nt touch it. If my Shulze Chamaleon packs up i would go for this. www.rcaccessory.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=241On the subject of lipos. I have always used Flightpower, they have been very reliable but are exspensive. So i decided to try a cheap HXT 2100 3 cell from UH $29. Well today i tried it and its C**P i'm not even getting a minute of flight time out of it. I use a 1800 lipo in the cub and you have to cut the battery box to get it to fit.

If you're planning on staying in rc for a while it's best to invest in a good charger like scc recommended. As for your mods you just need to pull the jumper on the esc to raise the lvc for lipo's, change your connectors to deans, and since you are only interested in flight time I would recommend a little smaller prop as well.
On lipo's I use enerland, polyquest, electifly, & thunderpower. Thunderpower seems to be the biggest bang for the size but very pricy.

Thanks...
By smaller prop you mean smaller diameter or pitch?
