Will an 8-cell pack give me noticably improved handling during windy conditions?

Right now I have the 7-cell pack that came with the SuperCub and a 7-cell pack 1500mAh (Elite) pack I purchased at www.cheapbatterypacks.com/main.asp?pgid=superlisting&sid=733008&model=367&manufacturer=28&type=airplane

I'm happy with the amount of flying time these packs give me, but the slightest bit of wind makes it difficult to fly. Any suggestions? Thank you!

I think the 8-cell might give you a bit more emergency power but at that level I most likely is pilot skill. At first I couldn't handle anything over 5 mph. Now I'm up to about 8 mph. At 10 mph I start to struggle and landing is a real issue. Last time I finally broke the tail after several batteries of successful landing when a gust caught it a couple feet above the ground and it cartwheeled. If you can try to sneak up on progressively stronger wind as your skill increases.
