Takes off like a jet and gets it to incredible heights in seconds. Love it!
I have to use up elevator to keep it flying level at 1/2 to full throttle.
Still thinking about adding Ailerons. Unfortunately, I don't have a video camera yet to show everyone.

You should add some mixing into your throttle channel so it automatically gives up elevator. You can set it so it gradually gives more elev as more thr is applied. Kevin

Good idea! This is my first real transmitter so I am not sure how to do it. Downloading the manual now to find out how to do it. If anyone knows this transmitter model, please provide some guidance...8)

Once you read the manual it will seem much more simple. It is an easy radio to use. I gotta run or I would explain. I will be back in a few days. Back to deer camp for muzzleloader season. Kevin

Hack, why do you have to add up elevator? That would imply it's nose heavy. That motor should be lighter than the stock one by a good bit, so it should be light in the nose and you should have to work to keep it level by using down elevator. But maybe I just don't understand.

It's probably because he set it to fly straight at full throttle, meaning that anything below that would cause the plane to descend. Like murgen said, this can be fixed with throttle mixing.

Yeah anything can be fixed with a little mixing..haha. I just made a onboard glow ignitor for one of my nitro's. I mixed it into the throttle channel so once the plane gets to half throttle it turns on the glow ignitor to keep it from stalling in this fridgid weather.

No, it just keeps it from dying when large amounts of cold air is dumped into it.
