I'm thinking of using my 4 channel JR radio in my SC. The one thing I can't seem to figure out is what ESC to buy for a brushed motor. Has anyone replaced the electronics but kept the stock motor and might be able to help me pick the right ESC?
Thank you and God Bless <>< Greg

Sure have Greg, I used a GWS 480Li esc and they are dirt cheap. I have also used Castle Creations esc's. They are cheap and reliable too. Hope this helps. If not just say so and I will link you up. Kevin

Thank you for the reply. I don't have Li-Po's, however. I'll checkout all of the GWS ESCs and see if I can find a 480 that will work with the stock and 8 cell batteries. Any suggestions while I search?
Thanks again, Greg

Did the GWS ICS 480 come with the correct connector? Or will have to do some work to get the right connector on it?
I really appreciate your help! Greg

Kevin,
No problem. Thanks for getting back with me. I'm glad to hear I won't need to do any soldering ;-) I'm looking forward to putting my JR radio in this plane. I "MIGHT" even do the aileron mod to my SC...
Thanks again! Greg
