With the 3-cel LiPo, the rudder and elevator jitters around. At about 60% throttle, my motor is completely cut off. Then reset the throttle and power up again, same problem. Removed the jumper before installing the LiPo. What might this be? With the normal 7-cell NiCad the plane also jitters in the air and cuts/limits the speed of the motor. Is the Rx faulty or what? I think this SC is now finally a writeoff!!!

could be a fault in the Tx or the Rx, or bad Tx batteries. Shake the Tx around a bit while observing the jitter and see if it is affected. As well, check your Rx battery connector, antenna wire, and Rx crystal. Ie. apply some finger pressure to the crystal to see if the jittering stops.
