the 480 will give you more power, and longer flight depend on how you fly. seems like alot of people are happy with the 450, but if you need the extra power for lifting cameras or something go with the 480. its pretty much user preference. hope it helps some what.

IMO the 480 is far too much over kill for this less than 30 oz plane. I use the 450 in 2 of them and carry up all kinds of things with no problems what so ever. I also get awesome flight times to boot.

Duck9191, why would the larger motor give you longer flights? I'm just asking to learn something. Thanks.

Hey Michael
I have the 450 in mine and have never wished there was more power. I can take off in about 6' and go almost straight up for about 75' before I have to level off. I've posted a video of it in the aileron section if you want to see.
Just my 2 cents worth though.
