Its an awful long time since i posted on this forum ,our beloved supercub is non longer available .I suppose it became too expensive to make ,what with the gearbox arrangement and only the three channels ,everyone wants all the whistles and bells these days .I think the fms super ez is a fitting replacement ,but every plane is getting super expensive these days ,and the manufacturers are coming out with less new stuff these days ,perhaps we have reached the high point of rc plane popularity .Perhaps with the new year a new confidence might spring up and the hobby will flourish again ,i hope so .anyway all the best Chris

Hello, It seems not many people fly super cubs anymore. or at least they dont respond to my posts if they are flying. i still fly mine every chance i get! i surprised this site is still online considering how few posts it gets.

Hello Bryan ,i wish i still had my supercub ,it taught me and a lot of other people to fly on our own ,without having to join a club and wait for someone to spare the time to teach us to fly ..Since those days i progressed to big planes ,fms ranger 1800 ,asw 17 and an fms avanti s jet ,all electric of course plus lots of Dynams ,hurricane ,spitfire ,fw190 ,cattalina. but after everything i have flown i still get just as much of a buzz out of flying the good old simple trainers ,dont get me wrong ,i have had great fun getting used to warbirds and pesky retracts ,but if i could go back i would tell myself to stick with a plane i could just fling in the boot of the car and fly it till the wings fall off ,save money and get real enjoyment all the best chris

Happy (late) new year. Glad to see the forum is still up after all these years!
