Any Muzzleloader Hunters out there?

I would contribute more but gotta run. Who else fancies this awesome old gun? I have 4 of them and shoot them quite a bit. I have:
Thompson Center Renegade .50 cal
Thompson Center Hawken .50 cal
Thompson Center White Mountain Carbine .50 cal
Knight Wolverine inline .50

I've got a Thompson Center .50 Hawken that I inherited. I wouldn't call me expert, but have had some fun with it. I used it a few times in Wisconsin when deer hunting in a party. I would hunt with my Ruger 6mm bolt action until my tag was filled. When I was helping other hunters in driving, etc after my tag was filled I carried this.

Never really got a good shot at a whitetail with it. Took a shot at a running deer once, but distance and speed made for a clean miss.

I worked at TCA for three years after high school.I worked in the wood shop making stocks.I got a beautiful 54 cal Renegade that I carved the stock for. I ran a carving machine that took 24 piece's of 2 x 8 walnut and turned them into gun stocks.My brother lives in Lan Sing, Mi. and is heavy into a black powder club out there.

Hey guys, nice to see other hunters out there. Sorry I do not hunt with the Muzzle loader though. I hunt with a rifle. In fact I plan on going on my first coyote hunt with my dad in January. I cannot wait.

Well I did not see him this time but I am going back today. We drove the swamps and only a few small does came out. I am going to sit on a migration trail for the next couple of days and see if that pans out. I know that he is still around......saw his tracks all over near the main swamp. He has been spotted by 6 different people but never a shot. Stories have him between 12 and 16 point. I know I saw him and he was not small. I figured him for at least a 12 and around 300lbs or better. Well til next time, Kevin
