I say it was dashed awkward for a moment or two, i was just bringing the crate in for a landing ,you know half flap ,adjust throttle ,full flap settle her in wheels just touching down when one looked up ,and the tree line became very near ,oh dash it all.Full power yank on the elevator and pull on the aileron ,the spitty lived up to its reputation it turned on a dime and climbed like an angel.This is a retract warbird so for the time that it survives ,i am going to enjoy this little firecracker  chris |
