seems more and more places are putting out Transmitters and receivers...Spektrum has came out with a new one the iX12 it is powered by Android some high tech things...BUT why would anyone want to surf the Net, and all that mess with a RC Transmitter ? Seriously..... when i fly i fly..I am not going to surf the web or call someone and google maps whatever... www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCIvvOL3tYwjust more overpriced high tech garbage that when it fails it will fail horribly and cost someone not only their model but perhaps someones life.... NEWS FLASH a terrible event occurred today as a "drone" was used to attack the local Police Dept. as onlookers stated, the thing seemed to have a mind of it's own, it had to be an alien attack it flew left , then right and up and down, ...... all we know is there was this guy........ walking around the Park across the street screaming into what appeared to be a over sized cell phone every time he yelled and turned the "drone" seemed to mimic his moves The Police arrested the gent and when asked what happened he kept saying I was yelling at the Mrs' and I forgot I was talking to her with my New Spektrum Transmitter....and my RC was still in the air and in other related case the FAA now says yelling into your RC transmitter while flying will be banned and new regulations are forth coming ....News at 11. |

I posted this new transmitter up on the site, more for the price point more than anything to be honest, even with my orange t6 and dx6e, i put all my rates on one switch, having to fluff about to adjust elevator ,or aileron or rudder on different switches ,not for me. if anyone needs a switch i fly with about four not used  i have seen the ix12 spectrum , if you are on the computer that is one thing ,if you are flying that is something else, fixed or should i say repaired wings we just rarely need all the tech ,perhaps a switch for retracts or lights,i dare say it will get more difficult to pick up a straight six ch reciever ,i might just retreat back into the cave  |

the new spectrum didnt even come on my radar ,although i have been giving voice commands to my transmitter for years, the dog walkers know the signs," it starts with a spell of hairy bat tricks ",followed by a big bang then about a five minute tirade ending with me leaving the field with my tail between my legs ,and having to apologize next time i visit the field
