Just out of interest i wondered when this brilliant site actually started ,i assume it was started up in the US,i looked up my original joining date,2007, some of the lads at that time already had 1,500,posts,that would make the first supercubs ,about 2003,obviously they wouldnt have drifted over the pond for a while. its just amazing that this simple little cubby of ours has found its way all over the world, and is still selling, perhaps not as much as in the beginning but there is still more than enough life in the airframe. chris

I started this site when I was living in Venice Italy. Looking back at my posts, it looks like it started on the 27th January 2007.

I started this site when I was living in Venice Italy. Looking back at my posts, it looks like it started on the 27th January 2007. Oh i say ,supercub "Italiano",blimey i joined the club the same year, you welcomed me as i remember. did you ever realize that the club would still be alive and kicking all this time later ,i think the whole idea with the exchange of information ,hints and tips ,upgrades and the like is wonderful ,and all information given in a friendly manner,i mean the club ticks along nicely, visitors reading the posts get the idea of how things go as far as etiquette ,on the site "nasty" just has no place here.you have over the years given us "parkflyers" the club structure that perhaps is lacking for most of us,where the local flying clubs are stand -offish,or just plain unfriendly, they seem to forget that everyone started off the same at first.to be honest it isnt all about the 47inchs of foam that we put in the air,its about freedom when i see a plane lift off the ground and get above the tree line ,just for a while i can forget about everything ,hospital visits and all.until its time to land of course .and i am still holding out hope of the mythical flying session, only been ten years .anyway sir you are my hero ,all the best supercub (limey)

hghost. You know what it is like. Life and work get in the way plus I've not owned a super cub for about 7 years. It is great that you guys have kept this place ticking over. limey. LOL. We will definitely get together one of these days mate. I must admit I thought this place would go off the map, but as I said, it is guys like yourself that keep it going. Big round of applause to you all. All the best, Paul

Super cubs are like fine wine...they only get better with age..... I like this, ,i think when cubby finally goes past the state of recover ability , i shall have to go the full military honors route ,with the pieces laid on a bed of fresh marmite on a raft and floated down the river Thame,to the accompaniment of the band of the Royal Horse Guards . i still can,t believe our esteemed leader SCC, is deficient in the cub ownership stakes
