I am not sure our skill is better or the planes are simply made better and are easier to fly ?

This was a funny situation at the time, both my son and i had been flying the supercub, same brushed motor, same prop, same size battery. myself being a twit thought this spit would be a round the same sort of speed ,the transmitter at the time with just a throttle slider on the left, was fine for the cub,but the spit needed finesse on throttle control, blow me it was gone in "ten seconds" , both my son and i where, thinking what just happened.my control of the beasty was none existant

Hi Chris,
Local farmer was very kind to let us fly in his field. He actually used to cut a runway for us. The last time I flew there was about 5 years ago. Here is the vid.
Otherwise we go to Kingsland park in High Wycombe or a local field in CSP.

Hello Paul , thanks for the quick reply ,kings fieldI have also tried hu park ,is that near the rye on the london rd, i have flown from the rye ,even taken off from the boating stream at the top, never landed back on it . i have also tried Hughenden park ,supposed to be a big lake there somewhere , i flew the super cub off a stream by a little weir on the estate there .also i have permission from a local farmer to fly in a field ,about 30mins walk from my house, havnt flown there ,for a while ,not since i lost the motor off a radian glider. i had taken the trouble to walk down there on a nice summers day, set myself up for an afternoons relaxed flying ,got the "rad" climbing sedately towards the clouds, then the dark side took over, i gave it full power to do a screaming climb ,that it was brilliant at, when there was a bang and the motor flew off the front over the hedges bordering the field and straight into the river thame ,when i get sorted out i might have to get another one , although i think the original version has been replaced with the eflite version with as3witches, or even the radian xl,not heard much about that one lately,do they still make it,eflite have such short production runs anyway all the best Chris
