saw this on a Rc Universe forum -->RE: Toy Grade Vs. Hobby Grade The main notable difference between toy grade and hobby grade is that toy grade is not meant to be disassembled. This is pretty much all I have to tell someone.
LOL.....

Hello there ,well i was feeling good so i thought i would try my fw190 down the field, it was cold but nothing major, i hav`nt flown this plane for 8 months, last time it was perfect well it skittered along the runway and refused to take off, this is with a fully charged batt, then whilst the plane was on its back i cycled the retracts ,only one would move so i gave up at that. when i got back home i plugged the batt back in and the retracts worked perfect ,i thought it had to be well below freezing to effect the electrics ,might be an issue with the batts. chris

batts hate cold weather.... normally electronics are not to bad in the cold makes me hurt, so i try and stay out of it as much as possible and on another note, been over on another forum talking about our FAA and the AMA issues have not been over there in awhile and go over and have some fun and jest and get reported countless times....seems people hate being told the truth and hate even more being made fun of when they do....LOL...

Hello there ,how are you feeling now getting any nearer to flying ,how are you getting on with the j3 rebuild. i had a good flying session the other day with my Acrowot , i did`nt film it ,i dont think my cams are very good although i can keep my head in the right direction now .just thinking of your experience on the other sites ,i think they used to call it "bear bating" if you challenge someones entrenched views ,especialy if they have no sense of humour well they get a bit unnecessary i find. people on "other " sites should perhaps try the "supercub club ethos" live and let live and all info given in a friendly manner all very British lol

doing well actually...still not close to flying yet, still to wet-windy-cold...
have not touched the Cub build either...can't get motivated with it .
yeah most are I can but you can't folks
and their feelings get hurt when they can't either...
this site was always cordial
if folks disagreed they were still open to debate and friendship
learned a lot from many here, most eager to offer information and their knowledge and expertise
consider everyone part of my family...and there lies the difference between here and there.

Yeah i can`t believe the views either ,we must be doing something right ,and all of them genuine supercub owners .the weather is improving at the moment ,suns out wind dropped still ruddy cold though.i have been considering a gradual return to work, perhaps one day a week just to get into it again i mean i wont ever earn what i did as a lorry driver, but that time has gone ,i would just be working in the yard ,i think i have to try it if just to see if i can handle the noise and having people around me all the time, when you have been used to peace and quite for 8months ,well you know what i mean. it would be nice to have some money in my pocket that i have earned, i have my wife`s birthday coming up soon and she realy deserves spoiling with what she has put up with the last few months. anyway i am glad you are making a recovery ,and hope you will be back on top soon all the best to you my friend. chris

Yeah being around people can get to you...I hate going to the store...
Yes would be nice for ya to give it a try and do a little at a time
I am sure she would appreciate a little appreciation on her Birthday
I am just waiting for weather to clear to get down to the field and get what is needed there done...if it would dry up some would be nice
need to get my planes checked out and make sure all is well
they have hung on the ceiling for awhile with no attention sometimes things come loose or twist get messed up So i will go over them pretty soon and recheck every things operating correctly
Let me know how it goes...I am sure it will go well, one step at a time my friend one step at a time .

Hello there ,i still did`nt get back to work yet , i went down with a heavy cold and cough got rid of that now.anyway weather window opened up the last few days,i managed 30mins on one batt with the yak 12, i managed to hook the bottom of a couple of thermals in February ,un heard of,i was just watching a couple of groups of red kites circling around and i just followed them up. i have had proper gliders that don`t perform like the yak, pity they stopped making it

Sad to hear that....some of my family about has been sick some as well, seems the cold and cough is everywhere
I have been fortunate and have had none of that so far so good
still to wet here....yesterday we had heavy rain to heavy wet snow and today sunshine melting it away and very windy
Good to hear you got the Yak 12 up a bit, I like the Yak...I have 3 of them ( one still in the box )
I like the Yak and the Wilga, both Nice planes, they should produce them again they discontinue good models way to fast .

Do you think its the power to weight ratio ,on the yak which makes it so great.i imagine if they made it bigger ,say 50ins and 3cell,it just would`nt be the same. still lets look towards the springtime ,not that far off we will all feel better with a bit of warmth on our backs. and the end of the football season ,the goal posts removed and the field dried out ,and the grass cut and" all the dogs on leads ",well one can only dream

Probably the almost perfect set up.....Yak flies like a dream I am sure they could do a bigger one, IF they fashioned that perfect balance from this one . Would be nice to see a larger Yak 12, I like how it is designed it's an awesome plane . I doubt they will, but we can only hope . today it is in the 70's very warm, but very windy as well....ground still pretty wet but this just makes wanting spring to get here faster . They did do a larger Wilga, www.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFGPR&P=3different from the one Hobby King sold, but still looks pretty good, just has not had that great a review from some , But some others like it .
