Hi everyone , recently bought a small hobbyzone sport cub s and a dxe tx with some spares etc and so far im loving it. I have put bigger tyres on over the ones it comes with and seems to have worked out perfectly. It has made take offs and landings alot easier it now no longer gets caught in weeds or even small stones. I have purchased a parkzone sport cub aswell im just waiting for it to be delivered. I intend to fly the small plane untill i feel comfortable using experienced mode and can consistently land the plane safely. I use beginner mode on the smaller sport cub s at the moment briefly switching to intermediate but not for long. I live in an area with loads of fields and some large parks (Scotland). If anyone wants to know anything else just ask , Cheers

Welcome, flying scotsman, if you already have the sport cub s ,and the bigger sport cub,the supercub probably wouldnt help you much.sounds like you are well on your way.when i started i went from the cub to a wot4 foame, the wotty shares some of the cubs traits, they are both floaty, you just adjust the throws down and add expo at first to get the feel of it,once you have a handle of what it does the wotty is a friend for life, also exellent for the wind thru yonder glens just mind the midges .i also have the sport cub,but against the supercub ,the extra expense of the sport was a bit of a let down.if you have one you dont need the other ,just too similar.once you get some flying under you i think you would appreciate the dynam series of planes, good quality generaly larger than most, cheaper than eflite, and usualy easier to get hold of,also a lot longer production runs so spares not so much of a problem. i have just rejoined the cubby site myself ,and most everyone seems to have left,so posts sometimes take a while to be answered all the best chris m

Good to read a post from someone new..and do not let not being able to go without the SAFE for long, I actually use a SAFE Rx in every plane I own...It has been a great safety net in my small flying sight . I own 2 Sport Cub S' and have one set up for day flight and one with Lights to fly at night...do not fly them much anymore, I fly Larger planes and they have Nav Lights as well...and I own a Flybeam that I use at night as well when I was able to fly.
Have been ill and have not flown for awhile now ( since beginning of May )....recovering has been slow, hopefully i will be able to fly in the spring.
