pparkzone spitfire Mark 11B

Hello,
I have a parkzone spitfire mark 11b that came with a 5-AP TX, unfortunately it flipped on its back and the engine controller in the RX burned out. Can anyone suggest a replacement RX. I did read that parkzone TX and RX are unique and not interchangable is this correct.

if this is right and that is what you have then you can use any Spektrum Rx and it will bind with your Tx
