My son has an older cub and wants to go brushless. It uses the stock radio from hobbyzone which has the normal rudder/ elevator stick but the throttle is a slider. No idea whats a good motor, esc and receiver to get and if we can use the stock radio

heads up RC has a Super Cub brushless motor and mount www.headsuphobby.com/search.asp?keyword=Super+Cub&search=I am currently still working on a New Super Cub with a bushless set up and have that mount/motor combo ypu can see it here : supercubclub.proboards.com/thread/5764/new-super-cub-buildI have no idea about the Radio you have...I assume the original Cub had a brushed motor and ESC /RX unit and if it does a Brushless motor will not work with that ESC/Rx Unit...you will have to change out the ESC and use a Receiver compatible to the radio system . ( some one else will have to chime in here about that older radio ) |
