Another vote on the pin stripe from me! Nice to see that some of us are still playing with our cubs  I'm looking forward to the winter months with the still and steady wind when I can fly more often! |

I would avoid trees however.....unless you like that back to nature look. I always had trouble with the aileron hinges. Could never get them to function good enough to where I was satisfied.

Seems most all models I have the foam is cut and hinged by some of the foam still intake in the center....and with a V-cut at the bottom which allows
the aileron to move down further than up....keeps the ailerons in the correct line....some have plastic hinges mounted in them.
I am going to do that with this new wing....I am going to cut the V-shape on the bottom and a straight narrow cut at the top
that way the foam stays intake and work them up and down to loosen them and then I can then apply Blenderm tape to the openings
keeping it all lined up.
When i cut the aileron and flaps completely off on the first wing....no matter what I did, it just never lined up correctly and made a mess
The old days with balsa, I always used a plastic hinge glued into a slot I created in the balsa- I even considered that in the foam wing
but did not have any on hand so I will try just tape.
have not been able to work on it more, but hopefully will in the coming days.

Ok just a little more work done on this SC build.... Installed Motor-ESC and Rx, Rudder-Elevator servos and did a little pinstripe along the Orange screen in cowl openings / prop adapter / Prop here is a few more Pics        |

I have been away for awhile but I'm back, and trying to get my brother to also come out and fly with me.
Project is looking good so far, I'll try to post my rebuild of my Super Cub.

Decided to add a Super Cub Figure, I got online , on the vertical stab wish i had left the movements lines off...but O well...I think it still looks pretty good................But i may go back and white them out and or add orange between the lines...?...hummmm     |

Have not been able to finish this yet.....have been very ill...and trying to recover..hopefully, I can get back at it in the near future
