Hi guys just accidentally came across this site and really wish I'd of found it back when I first bought my cub, because on its maiden voyage it flew away! Having read up on a lot of things on here I think I didn't set up the SAFE up properly. I just put the battery in whilst holding the plane as it says in the instructions. It didn't say anything about letting it sit for the gyro to find central position or anything. Luckily horizon have agreed to replace at the cost of £50 which is a huge reduction and gives me a second chance so il be having a good read through your forum before I embark a second time

Welcome
Yes, do read through the forum. Has a ton of great information that is invaluable .
SAFE just needs to be still when you plug in the battery until it does it's thing
should not have caused a fly away tho....probably more to it ?
