So... Today was the day that my heavily taped and glued up cub ventured out of the hangar and into the sky! -and with only a minor bit of damage caused: a bent prop shaft, although that was after an hour or so of many take offs and landings!

Looks good. Perform a whole lot different?
BTW, if you dinged it hard enough to bend the prop shaft take a good look at the gearbox assembly for cracks and the motor mounts for collateral damage. Not uncommon. If you take the GB apart take a picture first! We get lots of requests on how to put it back together.

Especially because i flew it on a day with minimal wind, meaning i could test it to its limits . Ive got a new prop shaft ordered so it wont be long before im in the air again!!!! Now the cub is in flyable condition again, ill certainly be flying more when i have time
