So there is a story to this picture. It goes like this, I went for a nice easy flight and it went well. My second flight I decided to climb up on the high snow banks (4 feet) that surround the parking lot so I could see my approach to the lot easier . So I'm about 6 mins into the flight and things are going well, sun is shining, very little breeze, and all is good. Somehow I decided to step backwards a tiny bit and the next thing I know I'm sliding on my butt to the bottom of the bank. Of course I cut the power and pulled back on the elevator...... needless to say it took about 5 mins to find the plane when I got to my feet. I found it on the other side of the field stuck in a tree about 5-6 feet off the ground. The snow being waist deep in places I decided to drive around the field and retrieve the plane. Once home I found the damage was minor. I glued the wing and put a strip of tape over the break, repaired the servo rod and was flying again the same evening. The lesson learned here stay still while standing on a snow bank and flying. Or better yet stay off snow banks altogether! Brian
