Well I loved flying Rc so much I decided to pull the trigger on a lifelong dream and bought a phantom ultralight plane! :-) Sunday the guy I bought it from will be teaching me to fly it. Will post pictures and vids for you guys! So sadly the super cub will be unloved for most of the summer  The ultralight! Little dirty from hanger storage for the winter  Still dirty need to clean it up!   Brand new sails I got for her. It'll be red mainly with orange accents! Should look good when done. I'll post pics when I get the new sails on |

Lol yah it's right there in your face! So ... Engine is back together and running fantastically! Got one sail 100% done on a wing and aileron. Have pictures later it was to dark lol, so by the end of the weekend, weather depending, we shall have a flying ultralight!

Flying both would be an interesting challenge lol, except my stall speed is faster than the Cubs top speed! Haha

The repack service is every 6years on this model. $800 a pop to repack & inspect. cheap insurance is the way I look at it! :-)

Thanks for the info, the wife and I are former skydivers.
for us, it used to be every 120 days on a reserve,
and that was $90. Didn't go to 180 days till after we gave it up.
