I have not posted here in quite a while, it has been a few years. I just pulled the cub out of the "hanger" and am prepping her for flight again. I have had this plane for 8 years now, and for the first year or two I posted here all the time and the cub was in the air every day. She has not flown in 2 years now. The only pieces not original to the original airframe are the tail feathers and cowl. Everything else has literaly hundreds of hours on it. I am really impressed with the way it has held together. Most of my wooden airframes fatige and require major work after a few flying seasons if they even survive that long. The cub covered with econocote is very durable. List of modifications, econocote covering open cockpit with clear windows nav and landing lights internal bomb drop fpv camera brushless outrunner w 3s lipo power Ailerons floats or wheels dx6i with micro servos

Thanks, I have been pretty lucky with this one. It was always reliable and simple to fly, I have other planes as old or older but not regular flyers. They may have a dozen flights on them then I get bored or it was a pita to maintain. I dont know how many flights are on this bird but if I remember right it was over 500. I used to fly a fews hours everyday after work and all day on the weekends. I flat wore out several stock motors and the gears in the original gear box. The servos have been swapped a few times and the nav lights have burned out all the LEDs. This was the first SC at my hobby shop since they were brand new at the time. Just going lipo was a big deal in this plane at the time. It is my favorite rc bird to fly.
