storm day fun

Well the storm is here! so what better way to be stuck indoors than to work on my Super Cub. I decided to paint the cub so I went with blue because of the decals I have already taped over and it would be to hard to remove. I have a Beaver r\c as well. It has Northern Adventures Services on it using the same lettering. So I decided to go with and Island theme on this one. Island Air Tours would make a great business here on our little island in the Atlantic so.........we now have one! lol

The snow picture is from my front window looking across my street, still bad out there so I guess I'll install my light package on the Cub. I just phoned our old air base here and the highest gust of winds so far are 125 kms , guess I might as well get to work. Won't be going anywhere soon.

Looks absolutely brilliant. Also looks like you'll have to dig yourself out eventually. May I ask what island in the Atlantic are you on?

I live on a small island. Prince Edward Island. Canada's smallest province I believe. You know I have lived in Alberta and Ontario. but this little island will always be home.

How lovely and we're almost neighbours, just a bit of water in the way. Almost on the same latitude but thank god or whatever for the Gulf Stream or I'd be having weather like yours.

Had to laugh at that one sailor! Personally I loathe the snow and am only happy when it is really hot and I have summer coloured skin. Csanada would be great for a visit to see the wonderful scenery, but then it has to be back home for me.
