can anyone that had went brushless already post a step by step explanation of how to install/mount the motor ?
and what ESC is best for the motor and what are the wirings to be done ?
where can i buy the motor/ESC for cheap ?
PLEASE, if every body that went brushless can post the pictures in details and explain, then it will be a great help for every body....

I posted some good pics of my set-ups in a different post. I can take some pics of anything you need in particular. I posted 2 mount pics (different mounts) and some others did too. Take a good look around the site and see some of the other mods too. There are a bunch of interesting mods out there. I buy everything from ebay (well almost). It seems like the cheapest price and I always get stuff fast. I am testing a few different motor/esc combo's now but the wind has been a issue. When I don't work it seems to be windy. I will do my best to keep up on the postings but I have so many irons in the fire right now it is hard to just focus on the cub right now. Kevin

Polo, here is a link to some pics I took of my cub. In several, you can get a good look at the mount setup I used. Basically, I cut off the stock black plastic gear drive housing, and then made an aluminum plate that matched the holes in the gear drive housing (where they go into the firewall), and positioned the motor out from the aluminum plate with four 1/2" plastic spacers, using 2/56 screws and nylock nuts (all bought at the local hardware store). That positioned the prop shaft perfectly (close enough) in the cowl, and retained the stock thrust angles. I can easily change angles using flat washers as necessary under the nylon spacers. It's been too windy to fly lately, but tomorrow is supposed to be pretty nice, so I think I'll try it. BTW, I made a bunch of changes all at once, and when I got it all back together, I had to add a big nut (I had laying around in the shop) to the front of the plane (inside the cowl) to correct the CG. I think you can see it in a pic or two. Make sure you check the CG before you take off after you make any changes to the plane. Good luck, and keep searching and reading. s150.photobucket.com/albums/s118/itchycods/
