Well after my switch broke, the day couldn't get any worse. Well, I t got a whole lot worse, as a tradie, I've certainly fixed my fair share of stuff ups but, this is my cub ? All repaired now, I highly recommend this tape, it's water proof but the colour doesn't suit white cub.

Sorry, but the photos show up so small that I can't really tell what happened in any of them. They really need to be resized to share.
Sorry for you troubles and hope the repairs work okay for you.

Really sorry about the crash but it happens. The good news as you've found is that the cubs are usually repairable. Looks a neat repair too. :-)

Was the crash caused by loss of control after the switch failure?
Those switches can be replaced with a little soldering, and the repair looks pretty strong.
A new wing is pretty cheap if it doesn't fly too well like that, though.

Funny you mention that sham. I'm not entirely sure, I know that after the switch snapped off I still went ahead and had a fly, I mean, couldn't turn up with no result. So I took the plunge. I found that at low level I had no control to turn and it just glided forward but the only way out of it was to push down on the elevator which I had todo on a previous day's flight before the broken switch. Wonder why

Sounds like a rudder problem.. wonder if its a broken servo or maybe if the panic button is stuck. I think the plane needs a proper check over before its next flight.
