"young " is a word one can use in a manner that pertains to one's knowledge and or wisdom or experience or lack there of.....
a host of terms such as immature ,juvenile can be applied, but as one speaks to another when they themselves are in an aged state everyone is "young" in their opinion.
"young " is an idea that even at the age of a 100 one can be very "Young"....or "Youthful" as it were.
Be thankful to be considered a "Young" man.....that compliment is rare in today's society.

Oh I do! Far better than Ol' Fart! eh? At my age, fast approaching 64, I'm always pleased when someone calls me "young man" Especially by young pretty ladies!
