Forecast was right. Cracking afternoon at the flying field. Only took three batteries thinking it would be too cold for more than an hour but hey ho felt quite pleasant so stayed about 3 hours. Maiden flight for the Bixler 2 plus a second flight and 2 with the Super Cub. All safe good landings not necessarily quite where I intended. lol

Well? Been an' dunnit now! Primrose Yellow is the THE colour! Rustoleum in hand and 2 to 3 hours stripping and masking up, applied 3 very thin coats and I think I've got away with it. Looking good so far. Have to wait and see now, test just a little area for some Frog tape masking tape. I want the red lightening strike down the side and if that goes well, red as stock, along the leading edge. Wish me luck and I'll try posting some pics? Why, you may ask? Watched some flyers yesterday out Eddystone and with the Sun we had, no-one could see their lighter shaded planes, just hoping that It turns out good enough to boast about.

Just make sure after all the painting and redo ....recheck the CG ( center of gravity)
and make sure all surfaces are working smooth and your electronics are right
You may have to move the battery a bit or add weight forward or back to get the CG right...sometimes adding paint or anything can throw it off
Better safe than sorry.
