Doing a little flying on the sim - and now, as well as both the SuperCub LP and the SAFE version - there is now the SportCub Carbon Z. This is the larger EFlite version of the Sportcub that myself and Knackered Sailor own and fly. It flies very much the same too, and is really good fun on the sim - a good way to practice too.
I hadn't tried out the flight recorder functions, but this is also very good. It creates a file under documents\PhoenixRC\Recordings which you can share. Putting files from other peoples recordings in this location lets you play it back within the sim. Very cool. Whats more, the resulting file is very small - small enough to share on a forum, for instance
I've attached one of mine if anyone might be interested - its just a dull free for all flight and will prove how little talent I actually have Its quite representative of a normal real flight for me, but I don't fly where there is a tarmac runway (sadly) and I don't normally do sudden moves so near the ground - in fact, there's a point at about the 5 minute mark where I'd have needed fresh clothes if I did that in real life!!
Pleasure_flight.rec (927.09 KB)
So - anyone fancy recording their practice sessions and sharing?

That's interesting...only issue I can't open the file
Still interesting to know it can be done.

You don't open the file, you add it to the folder I mentioned and then use the flight recorder function in the simulator to play it back.

Really? Works ok when I transfer it to a different computer.
Oh well, nice idea I suppose.

Probably more of my lack of technical skills to do it correctly.....
