I've decided that whilst the weather insists on not allowing my Maiden flight, that I would cover my Cub. Bought one roll of Yellow, just to try. Model shop were not sure if Solarfilm is suitable for "Foamies"? I'll keep this forum posted and if it turns out well, stick up some pictures.

I'm going to gently remove the decals, in one piece hopefully, and preserve them on some clean glass. Read somewhere that they might be re-usable?

If you had a Bixler, you could practically breathe on the decals to have them fall off. I have not found it quite as easy on the Super Cubs I have owned though. Good luck on the project and let us know how it all worked out for you. Pics are certainly nice to view on such projects.
