Just arrived today a Bixler 2. Having seen a few videos of this I liked the idea of being able to 'get up there' and glide around for a while. I think I'm more a scale flyer than a warbird devotee. I'm getting on really well with the Sport Cub and next time out intend to try a loop and some rolls.

In my swirling wind field and Interstate so close, I would not try to Soar there.
I like the looks of the bix...just not my kind of plane.

I did consider one, as I thought it would be great for those lazy afternoons They look like a great plane and am looking forward to hearing about it. But my next is going to be a bit of a quantum leap - I'm going for an E-flite Bonanza. A wooden plane, thats properly scale. I'm terrified of a very expensive plane hitting the ground hard, but I think I'm ready. Looking forward to learning about flying a much heavier craft.

Just had a look at it and VERY nice. Piloting a low wing craft is very different from a trainer but good luck looks great.

Those Bi9xler decals on them come off very easy though.
