I'm building a Electric Piper Cub J-3 ll, Does someone have a suggestion to rework the wing struts to have a quick release from the wing and fuselage. I have 4 plane's to take to the failed, So i half to take the wing's off.. Not bolt on like the plans? Thank you for your time.. ~Thomas~

Many including myself use the "Eyelet" bolts that the struts slide over and then you can turn the eyelet to secure them these are round...the ones I have are more oval and very small. somewhere on this forum are pictures of this Mod , Try this link supercubclub.proboards.com/thread/5429/strut-mounting

I just used fishing swivels, screws them where struts normally would go, now more packing a screwdriver just to take your wing of your super cub!
