I have many projects to do , as my mind goes all over the place. I have been having some health issues and have not done hardly anything. I have not flown in so long, I am not sure just how long it's been. With much needing done around the house and my many RC projects, I finally did one that was sort of easy and not allot involved. I have 2 Park Zone Archer's as they are being discontinued and I got them at really great prices I could not pass them up. I like the looks of the plane. Over on RC Groups there is a thread about using E-Flite SAFE RX out of the Apprentice in multiple air frames. As I installed a SAFE Rx in my Super Cub out of a new Super Cub S....I decided to install a SAFE Rx in others, So since my health issues have gotten better, I decided to start with the Archer as it seemed the easiest to do. I installed a SAFE RX in it. The very small Spektrum RX has a small insert area..I had to cut it out to make the SAFE Rx fit I also moved the battery strap forward to make room. Bench testing the SAFE Rx, it works great. I bound it to my DX5e to test with I have a New DX6, but have yet to get the hang of setting it up, so will use the DX5e first and then bind the DX6 to it later. All that's left is setting the CG and hopefully if everything works out I will get to maiden it one day this week. Park Zone Archer

Now if the winds would at least slow down some...I might get to give her a try.
