I have a set of floats for the SC and enjoy flying off of the pond.
My buddies both have the Flyzone Beaver along with a few others.
Anybody else have any float planes?
I've been thinking about mod-ing my Wildcat to a F4F-3S Wildcatfish.

There were some posts a few months back by some who were building some sea planes. They had pics and all, but I don't recall what models they were. Never saw any more input on how the build went for them though. Look at the archived posts and you can easily find them. It has been a bit since I flew my SC off the pond, but I enjoyed chasing the ducks and having a good time with my dog when we lived in Arlington. In Wichita Falls, the ponds are all but dried up with the drought these days. :-(

I've been flying the flyzone beaver in Maine for about a year now. Awesome plane to flywith landing gear. flying off water is fun as well but definitely doesn't have as much power.
