I have a Tactic TTX650 and also a DX5e ( 2 of them as a matter of fact ) one with a 2 position switch and one with a 3 position switch, but it is limited to what it can do,of course i still have the old DX4 that came with the Super Cub as well...and 2 or 3 off brand TX's that came with various planes.
But I bought the DX6 because i have gotten several planes that already have Spektrum receivers in them and I also am going to be using a E-Flite SAFE Rx, in a few as well.
Wanted the ability to do some mixing and some D/R and Expo etc etc...when I need to.
It has a 250 Model memory, not sure if anyone has that many or would need that many but even that can be added to with a SD Card
It has Programmable Voice alerts
It is suppose to tell you without having to look down to see what the alarm is ( battery timer for instance )
The DX6 is equipped with a built-in telemetry feature that gives you real-time information on things like your model's battery voltage, signal quality, engine or motor temperature, airspeed, altitude etc etc .
Supports Heli's Sailplanes and Normal planes
4 Sailplane wing types and 3 tail types
7 Aircraft wing types ,and 6 tail types
7 Swashplate types ( Heli's )
7 point throttle ( plane -Heli )
adjustable pitch curves
DSMX/DSM2 capable
SD card slot for updating firmware, expanding memory and sharing setups (SD Card is not included)
Activate bind mode from the menu or a button without having to power off .
Will have to figure this one out

Have not got into this DX6 Radio yet, but appears to be straight forward as well .
