I've been a long time lurker but this is my first time posting. After a 4 year hiatus, I finally got my SC airworthy again with a new ESC and receiver. I kept the stock motor, but she seems underpowered now so I may be upgrading that soon too. I was looking for a cheaper alternative to transport my new DX6i and I came up with this after seeing it used by other rc flyers. It also had plenty of room for my charger/balancer. If anyone is interested, its the Plano Protector Four Pistol Case. I got mine at Academy Sports for $15, but it can also be found at Wal-mart and Amazon.

Also, you've got to pass along the source for those RC Pilot Stickers.

Also, you've got to pass along the source for those RC Pilot Stickers. I got them off the internet I than just printed them off on Decal Paper Or you could just print them on regular paper and tape them on with clear tape Examples Just go to Google images and type warning signs or RC Pilot ,stuff like that and than download or copy them to your PC

My lovely other half bought me this case (amongst other RC goodies) for Christmas. www.spektrumrc.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=SPM6708
Plenty of space for the TX, batteries, tools, spares, charger, multimeter and all the other bits and bobs we take to the field. I used to take the box the TX came in, another box with the batteries in and a third to carry everything else. A pain that's now gone.
Feels like you could throw it around all day and not damage the contents. I'm a lucky man.

The first box looks like it would be a cheap and easy one to adapt for a GoPro camera box and camera accessories. Not sure how light weight it actually is though, but from the initial photo it looks like a good one to adapt for camera equipment, as well.

Coupe, check out your closest Academy, they have tons of cheaper, foam-lined, hard-sided pistol cases. they work like a charm.
Sailor, that case looks nice too!

Maybe so, but I just never looked for such at Academy when I was there. I seldom shop there these days and I am not a gun owner, so I seldom look in those isles to begin with. Nice tip to take a gander though and I hadn't thought of a case for all my GoPro junk being there with the gun cases and all. I generally only head over to the local Academy Store when I am looking for some boat equipment to make into some diy project or such. Not due for a visit during the winter though. Thanks.
