Hi Guys, Steve from Solihull, United Kingdom. Totally green to RC flying and was given a none runner by a frequent flyer and I've had great pleasure stripping it down and fitting it out with all new radio gear, new servos and a Turning ESC for the motor. It's taken a few weeks to get all the bits in and get it all fitted and working but the learning curve has been just what I was after to get to grips with all the control stuff. Been out for my first flight tonight after a few sessions on a Phoenix flight sim and all was good. A few minor crashes as I expected and I can see where I need to make mods to keep her in the air for longer. I hope to be a regular to seek hints and tips on the way. Plan to fit aerelons in the near future once I've got the flying sussed.

Greetings from Southampton, Billy.
My missus was born and bred in Solihull. Her snobby mother sent her to elocution lessons to lose the Brummie accent!
You appear to be doing remarkably well, and with a positive attitude. Best wishes for future fun.

Ooooppppssss..... I fitted a lovely new brushless motor to mu cub that doubled the lift and doubled the speed. Took it out for a succesful maiden flught where I got a bit over confident and whilst flying high the wind whipped up and pushed my cub over some woodland. Struggling into a headwind and loosing altitude I lost sight of her before hearing the inevitable crunch. Half an hour later of hacking through holly and brambles I finally found her in the upper reaches of a very larger oak tree totally unretrievable..... I'll need to wait until a windy day in the winter to see if I can ever get her back...
