The weekend has been wet and windy, but at about 4pm the clouds started clearing. I charged up all my batteries and headed out. 4x1300mah and the big boy for the Sportcub. Had 4 lovely flights with the super cub, lovely smooth flying in perfectly still air. It was a joy. The landings on freshly trimmed grass were smooth and straight and the flying was scale like and lovely. A total of about 45mins air time. Then came the Sportcub. I've got her trimmed right now, and what a plane this thing is! 22 minutes of plain old fashioned fun Inverted flight, lazy big loops, barrel rolls and stall turns. Combinations, like a half loop followed by a half roll. And some slow scale flight too. This thing is just so unbelievably stable and gentle. But with so much power compared to the Supercub. And circling with the flaps fully extended, ΒΌ throttle and under full control getting ready to land... Its just stunning. I won't be getting rid of the Super though, she just flies so beautifully, mainly due to the lack of power, and it makes me so happy to have good flights and landings with her. She is trickier to land on grass than the bigger plane, and more rewarding because of it.

Very pleased for you, Sham. It's great when everything comes together.
I would love to get out and up during the evening calms, but unfortunately less important things keep getting in the way.
